Acid Pools is a location beneath Lyr's countryside, in an underground world, inhabited by Goons.
Background
The location is situated beyond the Fungus Grotto. The area's damp like Fungus Grotto, but there's a lot less illumination. Acidic green liquid pours through the Pools. "Acid" falls drain the liquid into deeper areas of the cave. The acid, not surprisingly, will eat away at you - resulting in loss of hit points if touched. A mushroom raft at the end of the level leads you to the Shroom Lord
